Forest Loyal Orange Lodge No. 830 first received its warrant in Hillsboro, Ontario in 1857. The Lodge then moved to Forest, Ontario around 1890. In that year the Lodge celebrated the 12th of July with the Forest Excelsior Band leading the parade. Ten other Lodges also participated.
