Stroud Loyal Orange Lodge No. 234 received its warrant in 1873.

The property on which the hall was built was given for the sum of one dollar by William and Sarah Ann Webb.  The hall was built in 1873 and was used by the Lodge until 1957.  

There were thirty seven members on the roll in 1889 including John Henry Reynolds, Joseph Reynolds and William Reynolds.
