Unionville Loyal Orange Lodge No. 2562 received its warrant on July 8th, 1914.
In 1915, S.A. Bell served as the Worshipful Master of the Lodge. A Unionville badge belonging to Bro. Wesley Griffin was found on the battlefield in France during the First World War. In 1916, W. Leach was Worshipful Master of the Lodge however resigned later in the year in order to enlist in the army.
